Default New soccer pickups? Show them off here!

With all the interest at the moment I thought I'd start a thread for people to show off their latest soccer pickups. New or vintage, big or small, cheap or expensive, let's see it!

I'll start things off. Nothing too major here, some recent rookies and filling in some gaps in my Ballon d'Or podium rookie collection

19/20 Megacracks - Kubo
19/20 Megacracks - Fati
14/15 Match Attax - Grealish
UEFA 2008 Panini cards - Modric (2018 Ballon d'Or winner)

1954 Barratt A2 - Duncan Edwards (1957 Ballon d'Or 3rd Place)
1958 Fussball Weltmeisterschaft - Karl-Heinz Schnellinger (1962 Ballon d'Or 3rd Place)
1958 Fussball Weltmeisterschaft - Uwe Seeler (1960 Ballon d'Or 3rd Place)
Panini France Football 85 - Jean-Pierre Papin (1991 Ballon d'Or Winner)

It's nothing too major and its kind of ugly but I've been looking for that Papin for quite a while now, pleased to have finally tracked one down.

My most recent pull. It's off to the Black Hole known as PSA right now.

No, jumbo Cello packs. Get 3 Red/White/Blue Prizms in each back as well. My LCS has them for $4.50 a pack. Best deal in the shop IMHO!

And some classics from Germany...1934 Konig Fussball Dr. Sarosi, 1934 Konig Matthias Sindelar, and 1932 Bulgaria Sport Matthias Sindelar.

There's a great story about Sindelar, who played for Austria against Germany in 1938, with Nazi leaders in attendance. This is how wikipedia describes it:

"On 3 April 1938, the Austrian team played Germany in the Prater Stadium in Vienna its last match as an independent Austrian team, as some weeks earlier, Germany had annexed Austria (Anschluss) and the Nazis ordered the dissolution of the Austrian team into a common team with Germany, even though it had qualified for the 1938 FIFA World Cup.

The match (German: "Anschlussspiel") was dubbed as a game for celebrating the Anschluss and Austria's "coming home to the Reich". The Austrians played on the wish of Sindelar in red-white-red kits (the national flag's colours) instead of their traditional white and black. Austria missed out many sitters in a way that looked deliberate. However, in the last 20 minutes, Sindelar and teammate Karl Sesta both scored as the game finished 2–0.[10] Sindelar is reported[by whom?] to have celebrated extravagantly in front of senior Nazi dignitaries."

Sindelar was dead within a year. Still, many contemporaries called him the most gifted European in the game during his days with Austria.

We needed this thread

Great cards everyone, cool to see the diversity of what we collect.

A couple of my newest additions:

Rijkaard is such an underrated player. Best defensive midfielder of all time if you ask me.
