I can't wait to pickup the Yankees set. Was a good deal with lots of bonus cards in 2023.

I can't wait for the Angels to see who are the auto guys. Trout and what others?

Glad they're doing the Road to Opening Day sets again. After they didn't do the postseason team sets last year was worried they might nix these too.

Point is moot as autos are probably sold all together in packs but if it was old school, probably Schanuel would be best to be included. O'Hoppe and Detmers are youngsters too but already had RC logo last year.

I am also happy to see team sets back as I was also worried a bit after how the post season cards were handled last year.

If Ohtani signs for RTOD sets, those prices will be insane since almost any other Dodger will also likely be sought. Add Yamamoto and we might be looking at, what, $500/set given the pricing trends?

I wish Beckett would finally list last year's sets in their checklists/organize.

Ryan's usually pretty responsive if you drop him a note/suggestion on the Tweeter. That may be pretty low on his priority list though, to be fair.

So the new way is to buy a pack that has all autos of the included signers of the team?

The RTOD sets are some of my favorites each year due to the bonus cards. I love getting random bonus cards throughout the year. I also like deciding which teams to buy each year as it helps me get my thoughts together for the season. This year I'll snag the Braves for sure as I'm a Braves fan and they are the guaranteed one each year. Other than that, the Dodgers, Reds, Rangers, Orioles, Rays, and Yankees seem likely pickups for me. I'll probably snag a couple of others but won't know which ones until I see some checklists.

Bought packs last year...different players from different teams with different parallels with other different cards like base cards and some gold foil cards. It was different from other years.

I'm definitely biased but the Cubs have a chance to surprise - even without Belli.

He’s in the set this year.

To be fair, txrngr34's comment was made before Belli's signing was announced...

And we also haven't seen the actual sets announced yet, have we.
Though it's hard to imagine Belli not making it into the Cubs set at this point.

And my point was that without Belli, the Cubs have a realistic postseason chance.

Now that he's signed, I'm even more optimistic.

This was all in reference to, primarily, the possibility of bonus cards and that Cubs have a good enough squad to potentially produce a decent amount of bonus cards.

Seeing the MLS cards, I think the front will grow on me but in this example the logo definitely feels squished ... maybe that's just because I'm unfamiliar with MLS logos?

I do very much enjoy the obverse layout though:

Sadly, for baseball, basketball has way more eyes on it. Can't say I'm surprised.

It's just Topps being artsy with the logo...kind of like the logos on the 2017 set are clipped off a bit. I'm very happy to see larger, legible card numbers on the back...my eyes would like to thank Topps for finally returning to a larger font size.

I second the larger font size for card numbers, along with - hopefully - better contrast setting of the number. Some of those numbers were hard to see against certain backgrounds.

Yellow background was just CRIMINAL! I think even with yellow, we will be alright this year.

I'm staying away from those and just buying singles later. I picked up Greene, Carroll, Casas, and Harris last year for well under the price of a pack for most. I think I paid $80 for the Carroll. I do love the cards and might try my luck on a pack though. Worst case is I get a great-looking on-card auto.

Yeah the only reason I'm overpaying for the sets is I love on card autos and so very very few MLB ... well, Topps in general, products offer them anymore.
