My J. Jefferson Project...

Hi. I have been working on this PC since the end of 2020 but didn't take full authority to finish it until the calendar turned to 2021. So I went about this player PC a little different than all my others as the foundation of it is built through group break pulls instead of the standard buying any and all singles on ebay. With the epic pricing of cases and the resulting lack of singles per release, I took it upon myself to spend the equivalent amount per group break of 1-2 boxes for high end and 3-4 mid end. And no, I did not spend 50k on group breaks to get all these. I still missed some biggies but did utilize eBay and FB to fill some gaps.

This is a finite PC for now and ended with my last arrival in the mail today at 63 cards. The last time I did a modern football PC it was 46 cards for DeAndre Hopkins. I had to realize going into this endeavor that I would never be able to super collect this guy. Thanks to the 2020 market dynamics, it really was cutthroat to get break spots in PYT's and to get singles on ebay without paying absolute wallet crunchers on anything good. Thus many things I would have loved to buy were left on eBay.

Anyways, I will slow roll this PC thread since I have a finite amount and more than likely won't buy any more JJ's until 2022 after I enjoy his sophomore season.

So here's a trio to start (3 each day since 63 divides equally into 3 lol):

Beautiful start!! Those cards make me want to do the Griddy lol though now that I’m 40 I’m sure I’d look more like Cousins doing it than Jefferson! I have a mini Harvin PC and mini C-patt PC haha as much as I wanted to pick up Jefferson I didn’t want to roll the dice this year with the crazy prices. Definitely awesome cards! Skol!!!

Unfortunately, the highest end JJ's will be too pricey for me, especially compared to Svech. I watched his NT Shield RPA go for 15k on ebay. Never ever would have that kind of coin to spend on a card purchase.

Awesome, are you collecting JJ from every set? Always neat to see the progression of their autos over time. (Big difference between Phoenix and Flawless.) SKOL!

No not every set. Actually did not start entering group breaks until a week or so after Spectra released. Hit some decent XR hits but the redemption status expired at 120 days per policy now. Didn't starting hit bigger until Immaculate. I made the official decision to pursue JJ further in January when I bought a card for my birthday. Thankfully the best products don't release until after the season anyways.

Amazing collection...and that field pass card, WOW!!

I’m waiting on a redemption from Black that’s a silver RPA. Are you sitting on any redemptions as it seems he has not been signing any of the stuff he was supposed to? I was hoping he would during this off season but nothing yet...

Yes, I have 3 pending from Chronicles. But I had 2 from XR and those passed without a card to show for it. Just about all his redemptions are the sticker auto variety so to be honest, I would sell them and reallocate into a different card or live auto if you get more in the future imho
