Default Grading for SI for Kids cards in uncut sheets

Hey everyone, I recently discovered that I have uncut sheets of cards from the Sports Illustrated for Kids series which includes the sheet with the first card of Tiger Woods and also an uncut sheet from 2003 which includes the first card of Lebron James.

Looking for help on the best way to handle the possible grading of these cards. What is the best way to separate the cards without damaging them? Do you get help from a professional printer?

Appreciate any help and experience that can be offered. Thanks!

The proper way is to fold them back and forth across the perforations and separate them that way.

However, the way that has gotten the most high grades from PSA and BGS is through trimming them and then reperforating them. Maybe they actually measure/count the edges now, and that hopefully doesn't work anymore.

I would personally keep it as a whole sheet and get a large top loader for it. The way PSA is grading, good luck getting an accurate grade on a separated card, they will probably just give it a 5. I think the whole sheets are awesome!

If you used a straight edge paper trimmer (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R12TV9Z...d_asin_title_4) would that be too close to altering, even if you made sure to only cut in the perforation? Or a straight edge and exacto knife? Not saying one should try to alter them in any way, just wondering if you cut them along the perforations (leaving the perforation intact except for where you cut) if that would be acceptable or not?

It should not be acceptable based on PSA's definitions.

Cool thanks for answering. I haven't personally ran into this situation myself before, so was curious.

you could buy a rotary perforated trimmer for the same price as a straight edge on amazon for less than $20.

The number of perforations will be different thus altering the card but apparently PSA is so busy grading TCG that they have have completely abandoned the concept of accurately grading sports cards so I'm sure they would grade it an 8 for the sole reason of it having such a clean (perforated) edge. I can cite a million examples of this right now on eBay.

This is the reason PSA CANNOT be TRUSTED to accurately grade any card and should be avoided at all costs if you want any kind of legitimate grade.

It's kind of ironic than any computer assisted machine grading would easily be able to catch this fraud given the exact number of perforations that sports illustrated for kids machines use. This just shows that PSA is only interested in using SUBJECTIVE grading because it benefits them and their "associates"

If you want to be a fraudster in collusion with PSA then it will literally cost you less than $20 on amazon for a perforated cutter and a straight edged ruler.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8BRB3RH

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YDC336P

and before anyone jumps on me asking me why I'm posting these links, the reason I'm doing it is to show how easy it is today to forgo your morals for a quick buck.

the amount of people that will see this post and give in to the quick buck will be staggering, and they will be in collusion with PSA because I'm trying to expose PSA as fraudsters as much as the little guy. There's always gonna be a million little guy fraudsters but people seem to have a problem wrapping their head around that the "most trusted grading company" is literally a fraudster just like them.

The whole hobby is SICKENING right now.
