Default Topps and/or other Companies Presence at ALL Star Game

Does anyone know from past experience if Topps or any of the other card manufacturers have a presence during All Star week at the venues? i see there is an expo at the Cobb Galleria throughout the weekend/week. Thinking about attending the expo (have any of you gone to that in the past? What's it like?) and will be dropping by the Battery throughout the week/weekend.
Thanks for any answers/suggestions

I was at the ASG festivities in Arlington last year and Topps had a truck giving away 2024 Series 1 base cards. There was also a booth where you could purchase the 2024 Topps All-Star Game Complete Sets and they had exclusive serial numbered manufactured patch cards that were given out with the purchase of the sets.

If it is like last year, you'll want to get to the booth early because they will run out of the better serial numbered cards (I was there on first day, but not until several hours after opening, and I know they had run out of Ohtanis).

Hopefully they'll have cool exclusives this year. It sucks that they are doing All-Star Game blasters this year instead of the sets and that the blasters have already been released.

It's actually pretty astounding that MLB does not partner with a major promoter and organize a large sports card show in whichever city is hosting the ASG.

Same goes for the NBA and NHL....

Definitely attend if you have the opportunity! Check out the displays from the Hall of Fame, purchase a All-Star Game ROMLB from the Rawlings booth, and get a picture with the world's largest baseball.

If you want to get one of the serial-numbered manufactured patch cards, you'll need to (1) have a Capital One credit card so you can enter when the gates first open and (2) run to the Topps booth! (https://www.mlb.com/all-star/all-sta...ge/attractions.

If you're not one of the 'clector flippers (just say no), there's likely to be another FanFest exclusive set All Star set. Last year, you received one card from the set with the purchase of 3 Series 2 hobby packs at the Topps booth ($12 total if I recall correctly). You could pick the player(s) and I didn't have to trample any children to get the two cards I wanted.

The 2014 All-Star set is one of my favorites as it has Charlie Brown in it

There are autograph and photo opportunities each day. Last year, assigned times for events were available through the Ballpark app each morning at 9am. All slots were gone within 2–6 minutes so be quick! The good news is that there is a "retry" line if you don't receive an assigned time. I went straight to the "retry" line at 9am when the gates opened, waited in line for a couple hours, and got Vladimir Guerrero Sr. to sign a baseball. Vlad Sr. was fairly efficient so he signed for everyone who had a scheduled time and for many folks in the "retry" line.

If you're a Braves fan, there will likely be some former Braves signing. Last year, there was no line for autographs for some of the former Rangers near the end of their signing sessions. Additionally, there's an MLB authenticator at all the autograph stations (even for the obscure guys) so you have the option to receive the authentication sticker on your item.

My favorite opportunity was having a picture taken with a former player at the world's largest baseball. A staff member will take a picture on your phone/camera for you. I got pictures with Toby Harrah and Dave Winfield.

In 2022 when it was in Los Angeles , it was called play ball park and there was a Topps booth. I didn’t get there early any day so it was basically sold out when I went.

I did get surprised by an interview and subsequent free signing while I was there. Topps made a special card for the signing and Garvey took a picture with everyone. I did a pretty good writeup afterwards here:
