Weird to showcase a Bruce Buffer relic although it's pretty cool.

It'll be a tough sell to me if it's crazy expensive when I can get a Finest mega for a fair price that's been producing nice on-card autos.

WWE and UFC have had opposite trajectories returning to Topps. Feels WWE cards are bigger than ever and UFC is an afterthought after returning despite some of the Panini sets doing well.

Not sure what else can be done as this product for example looks pretty good to me and UFC Finest mega boxes were loaded but ironically there is still no "Buzz" for UFC cards.

WWE has stars and has been good at making stars. UFC hasn’t had as much success over the last five or so years.

UFC, generally has been stale for a number of years. I've been following MMA for over 20 years, and I can't quite put my finger on it when I just stopped caring, but it was probably around the time Colby Covington and Masvidal had their altercation.

It's guff these days. I just wish there was more fighting, more genuine characters, and less Trump, less of those Nelk life losers and less of the stupid games like holding up the HW belt.

Meh.

I think i'll stop with the UFC for good once Holloway, Porier and Gaethje retire.

Just saw the checklist, kinda weak, superior relic signatures list is meh and Kayla Harrison doesn't even have a base rookie auto /99 just relic.

Completely agree and from what I've seen so far, I'm not a fan of the design.

Multiple sites are doing pre-sales at $800+ and one of the big three is buying cases at $2500. Looks like they'll sell out instantly tomorrow from Topps. Seems completely insane but par for the course I guess.

Gives high-end Panini like Immaculate or Flawless or Impeccable, but the price is insane and when I saw the Buffer relic I was pretty excited then I see the checklist for that specific set (Others have relics but not comparable to Superior) and I don't think I even saw Jones or Poatan, has some pre big names still but I remember looking and basically none of the people I was looking forward to having on were in the set.

If you don't hit a big relic/dual it'll prob be a rough rip too as I don't see a ton of UFC fans paying the insane premium singles will cost when Finest just released with a bunch of on-card autos and are even more affordable since megas had one auto and actually had good names popping out

What did Topps price it at? Topps must sell a lot lower than retailers or else it doesn't make sense how fast every UFC product sells out when I still see these same products sitting at stores months later. Royalty is more high-end but it happened with Chrome and Finest.

It was $400/box. It's $1000 at most other places now.

It was $400. They priced it less than half of market value and didn't run an EQL and of course will never run an auction.

The way the new system works you can hit buy now and be on the checkout page in less than 5 seconds after the product goes live. How is it possible to do that and get told the product is sold out? Literally less than 5 seconds after going live. The first couple products they did with this system it would give you the checkout if you were that quick. Now it takes it out of your cart and basically over the next 10-20 minutes it's who's running the best bot or who Topps deems the luckiest.

For a high end release it sure has a lot of scrubs in it:

Val Woodburn - 0-2 in the UFC and was cut.
Molly McCann - 7-7 in the UFC and recently retired.
Jalin Turner - 7-6 in the UFC and recently retired.
Drew Dober - Definition of a journeyman and on a 3 fight losing skid.
Chelsea Chandler - 2-2 in the UFC.
Tyson Pedro - 6-5 in the UFC and retired.
Jairzinho Rozenstruik - Journeyman who was recently cut.
Natan Levy - 2-2 in the UFC.
Jack Jenkins - 3-2 in the UFC.
Ryan Spann - Journeyman who’s lost 4 of his last 5.
Jack Shore - Former hot prospect who flamed out and is retired.
Jake Hadley - 3-4 in the UFC and has been cut.

The box I saw the best card was a Joanna Jedrzejczyk auto who has a huge beautiful signature but of course Topps mucked it up by putting a huge T-shirt relic in the middle of the card so her signature is all scrunched up in the bottom right corner.
