Grading wasn't a thing when I last collected cards.
![]() So here we have an Aaron Rodgers 2005 Topps Chrome RC #190 Psa/Dna Auto 10. So this isn't a Dual or Card grade, it is an Auto grade. The Auto grade got a 10. So to properly comp this card you would look at just other Auto 10's? Would you submit it for a Dual grade now or if condition doesn't look like a Card 10, then better off not? With the QR I believe this is the latest slab generation, but when did they start their dual grades? My assumption is they didn't think the condition was a 10, so just submitted as an Auto grade only. I just need some clarification how you would go about comp'ing this card. Thanks! |

To properly comp i would look at other auto 10s, with authentic grades on the card. I found two sales of cards that fit that description from early 2024 both of which were around $440

Just so you know, that slab is not declaring the card to be real. It likely is, but they didn't always use "REPRINT CARD" on auto-only submissions. Sometimes they just used "TRADING CARD", even when the card was counterfeit. It means that it never made it to the PSA card authentication side, just went through Auto authentication/grading.
