Just returned from Japan. Enjoyed the culture and the food. They have a city pretty much designed for Anime and that's where I sent a little time finding cards. Places that I traveled to: Akihabara, Ginza, Shinjuku, Yokohama, Ichigaya, Ueno, Shibuya, Nakano, Ikebukuro, Kamakura, Nippori and Nagoya. Most of those cities have many Pokemon shops.
Non-stop flight to Narita ![]() View from my hotel room near Ichigaya ![]() Pulled this from a few packs from 24/7 hour convenience store next to the hotel ![]() Bought a Seiko watch from the Seiko HQ in Ginza ![]() Arrived at Akihabara on a train ![]() Went to 20+ Trading card shops ![]() ![]() ![]() Had ramen several times. The best. (690¥~$4.65) ![]() Had Wagu twice. Each steak comes serialized. 12oz costed 2700¥~$18 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also bought some Godzilla packs at the Godillza store in Shibuya. Pulled a gold parallel, 1954 variant! ![]() ![]() ![]() Bought me a nice 1st edition Gold Star Charizard and the Victini promo ![]() ![]() Stopped by Kamakura. Had a nice lunch and great matcha ice cream. Ran into one Trading card shop at Kamakura that sold sealed boxes and headed singles. ![]() Also pulled this red parallel#/5 from Stadium Club ![]() Nonstop from Tokyo: arriving in time for San Diego Comic-Con ![]() Last edited by Kabuki; 07-24-2025 at 01:41 PM. |

Very nice, looks like a great trip. Really cool to pick up that Seiko from their HQ.
