Default Thoughts/Opinions on Hand Numbered Cards

Whats your opinion on hand numbered cards? Do you like them, stay away from them. Would you prefer they were just "Assumed" Print runs, or would you rather have Hand Numbered than no numbering.

Generally talking Cards #d /50 or less

Are you specifically talking about hand numbered or merely stamped with a number? I like someone touching them with good handwriting over machine stamped over no numbering.

Based on the thread title? I’m going with hand numbered

I love them

I HATE them in Panini Honors though. That release is God-Awful and I refuse to have any in my collection.

Way to absolutely RUIN these cards Panini.

Asses.

If you reply with...."last one on eBay sold for this"...then you should have bought it on eBay.

Just found a couple 90’s cards that were hand signed & then stamped out of 200. Ben Coates and Jeff Hostetler. Didn’t even realize that thee insert had it paralleled to /200, it took roughly 3 decades to know it existed.

It depends on the brand. Honors and Black Box is awful because it's just back doored product that dilutes the rarity of true 1/1s. When it was actual Buy Backs it wasn't as offensive.

I do like it in Upperdeck Premier where they hand number the actual Game used patches and if you collect them all you would have the entire patch.
