Default Post Anything / Request Anything

I'll have some free time this weekend.
What does everybody want to see/share?

Feel free to post anything or request anything (non-sports card related).
Cheers!

Very cool piece of history 1/1 card, and man that 90 MU Spider-Man holo never gets old.

I like the thread idea… with nonsports being so diverse it’s fun to see random things from peoples collections. Will try to add something eventually

Got these from the same case back when. If I'm not mistaken, it was the mother's last autograph card issued in her lifetime and the daughter's very first autograph card.

Incentive two sketch puzzle set by David Day of David Bowie from Unstoppable's "Man Who Fell To Earth" card set.

Get your stinkn' paws on me, you darn dirrrrrrty ape:

Sell sheet from the never issued 2006 "Superman Returns" update set which was cancelled when the movie underperformed at the box office.

A selection from the ongoing set of "Trading Cards" by artist Cuyler Smith, who imagines sports trading cards using subjects from various films and TV shows beloved in Pop culture:

Some of the best-designed costume memorabilia cards ever made, from the Breygent "American Horror Story: Asylum" card set:

Epic fail from Topps who mystifyingly sourced these non-Topps cards to stamp with a foil Topps logo and issue as Buybacks in their otherwise awesome 2013 Topps 75th Anniversary card set:

Bad, bad news:

Cool idea for a catch-all thread!

This is one of my favorite Godzilla cards and I love the effect used to display his atomic breath on the card. I just subbed this to PSA through COMC from a batch of cards I shipped from home.

I was character collecting Rocket Raccoon for awhile and here is a cool number (1499/1499) slab from the Jusko set I just got back the other day…

Love my “E.T.” Star Wars card I recently posted in another thread

And everyone loves puppies…

And horses …

Commissioned these from resident artist Gabe Farber and don't think I've shared them yet, any suggestions on characters to add?

Is the Kelly Leak bread end label a custom?
Where did the Martin Kove card come from?

Weird stuff gives non sports its charm imo.

Those turtles packs are such nostalgia for me, I wish pack/box covers could go back to that fun pulp-y look from the 70s/80s. Including them actually being wax again- how awesome would that be, as opposed to everything being foil.

Agreed.
The deep-set collectors are the best.

Back in the '90's, I collected a lot of in-person signatures on trading cards.

Well, if you want to go deep and obscure, here’s my Star Wars animation set. Topps has only tried this once…and everyone HATED it. There were 2/case and featured original animation from the 1980’s Saturday Morning cartoons “Ewoks” and “Droids”. These shows were disliked when they came out and are up there with the SW Holiday Special now. But the show had its charm for someone who grew up on Saturday Morning cartoons (while eating a bowl of cereal) and on Star Wars. I watched the entire series on YouTube when this set was released. Since I was the only buyer, I was getting them for the price of unnumbered medallion cards and I tried to get one image of as many different characters and scenes as I could. A lot of images had a lot of similar cels and I tried to avoid any dupes. Droid cels were very rare since all but the last 2 episodes were destroyed in a warehouse fire. Cels of c-3po and r2 are quite rare. My set is over 5% of the entire production run. Enjoy…

Here’s a close up of all of my droid cels. The r2 with umbrella was featured on the sell sheet…

Raymond was good enough to show off that amazing collection (perhaps an earlier version of it) nearly 5 years ago in this "Animated Cards" thread which also shows more of my Scooby-Doo sketches and lots of Simpsons stuff.
