Default Micah throwing McCarthy under the bus.

Tell me you want to be traded without telling me you want to be traded. I know McCarthy is not the answer and his days are numbered but he didn’t deserve this treatment from Micah Parsons.

I’m not condoning Parson’s answer, but why is the media asking a player about the future of the coach? This is a question, designed to get a response that can generate clicks and views. So much of the media are just selfish leeches.

It’s the way the media has been for far too long. You would think these players would realize they are being baited and just start giving tongue in cheek vanilla answers.

“Mike can leave and go wherever he wants. Guys I kind of feel bad for (are) guys like Zack Martin & guys who might be on their last year or on their way out. Because that's who I wanted to hold the trophy for. You want to win games & do great things with those type of legends who put in more time and work than Mike McCarthy ever did.” - Micah Parsons

Is Parsons the wisest player in the league? No.

Am I ok with him saying this? Yeah. I rate this well below guys shoving their kicker around on the sidelines or poisoning the locker room.

Do I want the NFL to become the NBA and have players running the show and their mouths with almost zero accountability? Absolutely not.

Bout time someone said it , you know you lost the locker when they stop calling you coach and just go on a first name basis !

In a way it is a form of division. You might feel this way about the coach but no need to air your dirty laundry in an interview for all to see. Pushing the kicker was a heat of the moment instance which I also don’t condone but it wasn’t something that was already thought out and you know Micah already knew what he was going to say if that question was asked. Since the 49’ers won the kicker incident turned into nothing significant but I would’ve liked to have seen the fallout if they lost.

Fire McCarthy and hire no one. Just let them go out there and backyard football it for the remainder of the season. Put the coordinators on paid vacation/leave. Do it. A bunch of selfish players with zero accountability. They'd be fist fighting each other during a play by the end of the first quarter.

Frenzy inflicting collateral damage on the Niners with this response.

I blame it on Deebo’s physical therapist. She’s a quack.

Deebo only did what most of us would want to do to the kicker. They busted their butts to get in field goal position only to lay all their hard work to waste due to a position that should and could be eliminated from football. If you didn’t notice I have no love for field goal kickers.

Try convincing the Vikings of that yesterday.

McCarthy should have been booted after last years embarrassing home playoff loss.

Exactly. That is a poorly run franchise.

4 straight home losses since then. Gave up 44, 47, 28 and 34 points.

That’s true in a way but without kickers they would’ve probably converted a couple of 4th down tries.

This isn't the first time McCarthy has being accused of not putting forth the appropriate amount of effort. Whether he is getting massages at the facility, doing work in his office, leaving at 5.......... the perception of McCarthy is that he is not putting in the full amount of effort.

I personally think he sucks and hasn't been able to motivate his players since the early 2010's in Green Bay. I'm sure he is knowledgeable far beyond anyone here........... but that doesn't matter. If you can't inspire and motivate men to believe in what you are trying to do it's a F- across the board.

The comments by Micah aren't really all that bad if you listen to the whole thing. It's basically this; coaches can move on or be anywhere but players have a shelf life and he wanted to win for the great vets he has admiration for. Just another non story being made into a big deal.

I think if he had left one sentence out, it would have stayed a non-story.

"You want to win games and do great things with those type of legends who put in more time and work than Mike McCarthy ever did."

The rest of it is just responding to a question, and for all we know, he's right about McCarthy's work ethic, but it's just more drama.

Drama...... that's the perfect word.

With the officiating the way it is, the crazy drama, etc..... I have really lost interest in the NFL over the past 4-5 years. It's more of WWE style entertainment than it is actual sport. A quick review of any game could easily see 8,10,15 either wrong or missed calls. Maybe it's always been this way but it really seems like a circus.... and the media is definitely seeing blood in the water with all the loose lipped players and social media stuff. I don't blame them for asking these questions if players are going to be foolish enough to engage in it.

How about Jerry's response to the sun being directly in his players' eyes on the ball where CeeDee didn't even make at an attempt at catching it?

"By the way, we know where the sun is going to be when we decide to flip the coin or not. We do know where the damn sun is going to be in our own stadium."

He was then asked about the possibility of closing the curtains in order to prevent the sun from having such an impact. He did not seem pleased with the question.

"Well let’s tear the damn stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me?" he snapped back. "Everybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues."

"I'm saying, the world knows where the sun is. You get to know that almost a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where's the moon?”

Cuckoo... cuckoo...

P.S. - Need to reunite Micah with his pal Saquon. Get it done, Howie.

Jerry getting angry every time he gets questioned this year is something to see.

It's weird that is seems like he thinks the sun is something they can use strategically, because they cover those giant windows for other events apparently.
