That's actually wild lol doesn't look like an error as he wouldn't have room to sign after putting that, looking at his auto it's pretty long.

I doubt UD would be happy with this lol but it looks like it's on purpose, super unique unless he did a bunch the same lol but the kind of card you almost would wanna slab to confirm authenticity now

Awesome card, but he prob didnt know he was supposed to sign. Ive requested tons of special inscriptions on random things before, and Im suprised at how often players sign inscriptions but dont sign the item.

i reached out to upper deck, they said i could return it for another auto'd card of a random player, or possible they could add a sticker auto of coronato to it,

any thoughts? should i just leave how is and get it slabbed and say its a error?

thanks

just sell it as it and let someone else figure it out.

do not return to upper deck, you will probably not be happy with the result.

they will either give you an "equivalent" player auto (possibly not even from this same set) or slap a sticker on it which would look horrendous.

i would think somewhat less than what an actually signed one would be worth unless you find a super collector of him or an error collector.

A signed out of /99 is maybe $40 tops on a good day?
Inscribed and unsigned 'error'? Maybe the same to a PC, but likely less.
A yellow /125 went for $22. There is another yellow up now at auction $6.99 with no bids and about a day left. A horizontal auto /99 is up for $50 OBO.
If you like the player then keep it.
If it's all about the cash send it back and roll the dice. How much worse can you do?

Wait for a autograph signing and get him to finish it off.

up to the OP, but that is not a choice i would make. as it stands now the card is unique, adding an after market signature could potentially put doubts on the signature.

here is what his signature looks like on those cards...

he would either have to squeeze it in there, or overlap the inscription. unless he signed it in another place altogether. any of the 3 options would look odd, especially if the pen did not match up.
