The formula is back! In every episode you will have some idiotic side missions to fill up some time, some cut scenes featuring baby yoda eating something or making a stupid noise to satisfy their simple-minded audience, lots of nostalgia based characters also to satisfy their simple-minded audience, a boss battle finale which always ends the same way and a scene at the very end to give their simple-minded audience something to look forward to next week! I should not forget that it will feature plenty of terrible wooden video game like acting as well as their quota of flyby cut scenes.

This is the way.

Try not to worry about the terrible writing, the plot holes, etc and just concentrate on the pretty colors.

It boils down to if you’re content watching something small and I guess cute eating things to entertain you vs watching something huge and gross (sand worm). Maybe if Gorgu was more phallic.

I have to agree, season 2 of mandalorian was repetitive, side mission to gain info/help, defeat boss, that’s it. I didn’t even enjoy book of boba fett that much and boba fett was always my favorite character.

They really should make a show about imperial recruits from the perspective of the recruits thinking the rebellion is actually bad, and possibly twist it in a way similar to how some people followed and supported hitler and the nazis based on propaganda and how information is twisted in addition to people being upset and unhappy. I think it would just be a fresh twist on things other than the typical empire bad/fight empire storyline.

Think of the children. Try to insert a baby Yoda into a barracks shower scene where forced contact and daily suicides are happening isn't easy. Political moral high grounds and the battle within to flee.... vs bar fights in a desert and some form of sand karate, its a tough choice.

I mean show it from the perspective of how some younger recruits get involved by believing what they are told without knowing what the empire is actually doing and why the rebels are actually opposing them.

I 100% agree the storyline could be made much better, more in depth more adult and would be crazy interesting if done right. The issue is that is not the goal at all. As stated, baby scene, desert stuff, fight/win ahhh he has a heart.

Looks like the central plot is focused around Mandalore which is pretty cool if you've seen The Clone Wars.
