How to price a 1/1 Luka Uncirculated Encased

I pulled this Luka Doncic from a Flux Hobby pack. It is a 1/1 Unirculated Encased Autograph and I have no idea how to value it. I have Collect-A-Con coming in about a month in Orlando and I would like to have a definite idea of my value by then if I can't sell it before hand.

Nice card! Only good way to comp is to try to find other 1/1 non-rookie sticker luka autos that have sold (or that are for sale if you can't find any sold).

Thank you. This one wasn't up last time I looked. This will help a ton. Seeing what a 1/10 of the same card sells for will at least give me a starting point to comp against. Then I just need to figure out a multiplier.

No problem, good luck with the sale. Awesome card. Wish they would have placed on card autos instead of stickers but really like the card design.

I would not grade with BGS if you are sending it to grade. To the right Doncic buyer, I could see this sell for $5K.

If I send it off to get graded, I will send it to PSA but I want to get an idea of value as it stands now before I do. If I could move it for > $5k I would probably sell it without grading it.

There are two listings on eBay right now for the Gold Shimmer version of this card which is the /10. One auction and one BIN for $4k. I'll see what those do and try to set a value based on those.

Did you want to sell now? If you have patience someone will pay a lot for it. It is name my price card. If I had the card, I would not grade it with the seal on and it is a 1/1. Not a fan of Flux, but the black and this looks like a Prizm rookie card making me like this card. Right now, you may get the highest price before the dip when baseball season starts, if it ever. At the same time, in a few years Panini won't have NBA license and Doncic maybe signing non-Mavericks autograph cards. You may want to wait to get more money for the card.

So, the FOTL /5 Encased is listed for $2700 right now and the Shimmer Gold /10 just sold for $1600. There are no big name Equinox Black 1/1 sales that I can find to get good multipliers from.

Do you guys think that $5,000 is a reasonable expectation for this? If I could get $5k I would probably sell it right away but I don't really want to pay the eBay fees for it so I may have to wait until the end of next month and take it to either Orlando or Atlanta.

The best way to find out if you could get $5k for it is to list it for $5k and see if anyone buys it.

Or just put it at open auction and let the Doncic collectors have it out.

All anyone can really do is make educated guesses.

$5K is reasonable, but you may not get much interest. If you bring to a show, just make sure you don't lose it. It has happened before at card shows, or trade nights. Going to a card show is best bet to get the money, but not top dollar that you can get for the card and most likely cash/trade. If you want to sell for top dollar, big consignors because they attract big sharks.

All it takes is for one crazy Luka collector with deep pockets who feels like they HAVE to have it. It's a 1 of 1!

I don't think this happens frequently, but if wealthy ppl see something they like, they'll just buy it.

Wealthy ppl buy things like cars at sticker price because their time is more valuable then whatever money they'd save negotiating with the car dealer.

I don't get it, but I get it.
