Default PSA February Special: $15 for 1989 and older

When PSA does these "Specials", do you guys notice them giving out LESS 10's on well deserving cards than if sent at a slightly higher level like the $19 Bulk level? Or do you see the opposite effect? Someone mentioned to me a while back that they don't like to use the Specials PSA offers because they fell like PSA just uses the Specials as a cash cow to get tons of cards in. And they didn't usually receive the proper grades as if they had sent the cards a higher level. Regardless of the Declared Value, I mean the cards in question could all be in the $150-200 range. Any opinions from past experiences with PSA Specials in the past?

Objectively it shouldn't matter. The card condition is not affected by the price it was submitted at.

I did fine on my one $15/bulk special. I am not concerned, sent another 34 cards at $15 before it ended 12/31.

I'm probably in the minority here, in that I've submitted with PSA many times (mainly between 2017 and 2020) and rarely felt my cards were over/undergraded. That being said, I've always submitted at Bulk/Economy levels and was consistently satisfied with my grades.

I've never noticed a difference in my gem percentage on these. I have on occasion got specials back slower than standard service which is somewhat expected.

I’ve had no noticeable difference on specials
