This team sure does like it's Mike's.

Not surprised in the hire, but am surprised they did it so quickly. Clearly Robinson liked him.

I did like Vrabel from what I saw on Hard Knocks a little while back. Came across as a No BS kind of guy.

Like you guys said, the offensive staff will be huge. Curious if LaFleur is on the table.

As a huge Mariota fan, I don’t really care who the Titans HC is until they get a competent OC in there. The regression this year was tough to see, but the scheme and playcalling was worse

BOOM... closet Titans fan and man I have a good feeling abiut Vrabel & Lafleur .. seem intelligent & ive heard Vrabel is a real personable leader type .. even at NE where he wasn't scared tio call out Dadth Vader (an Belichick wouldn't dismiss him or cut him for it ha)..

Mariota & Davis needs to get healthy and they'll be in business on offense . D should see a bit of a boost hopefully since they got man handled some games

Vrabel's talked the talk so far.. said all the right things. It'll be nice to see the offense open up.

I'm really curious to see how big they're willing to go in free agency. They don't have any huge holes, but they have a bunch of money and there's some guys that would be definite upgrades like Jarvis Landry, Trumaine Johnson, Demario Davis, Andrew Norwell.

Yes that's one of the catch 22s about a man who can talk the talk An look like he can walk the walk ha... but we're about to find out esp since Belichick coaching teee is trash in terms of HC

I'm actually with you on Juice (Landry) esp if the Titans cannot find a reliable outside deep treat to stretch the field. One thing about Juice is he's a fearless route runner and makes consistent possession grabs for first down yardage . Gets a bit heated and out of control on the field but let's be honest who the hell is going over the middle and or takes hits in traffic for first downs with no fear without being a bit nuts

This team when I watched also had either a lot of key drops or bad penalties to stop drives along with cookie cutter play calls. Mariota was also hurt basically all year with the lingering injury so there would be noting better than getting him protectiion .. IE Good route running possession WR and OR another tier TE with play calling that would allow the Titans to run really good quick precise misdirectinnroutes tontheow off defenses like the pats do to set up deep PA

I KNOW 1 thing .. Derek Henry is a beast .... give him lanes and limited 8-9 man boxes and he's a 1400 yard 12 TD back all day

I like Landry so much because they didn't have any guys last year that could win quickly off the line. Those quick slants can be killer on a read-option. Davis was actually able to get open on deep balls a lot more than his numbers show. The communication with him and Mariota was so bad, though.

I do think they'll be willing to spend big. I think the GM kinda regrets not ante-ing up on Bouye last year.

Exactly & yes I saw quite a few plays when Davis came back thrown his way but timing/read was off on where he liked it or he just missed.

And if anything you guys took Jack Conklin over Tunsil... seems to be working ?

I expect the Titans to go DE or OLB this year in the 1st

Conklin was great as a rookie, but he got a lot of help from Anthony Fasano, too. They really missed Fasano, and while Conklin was still good last year, he seemed to take a step back. The whole line did, really. But you saw what happened when he got hurt against NE.. feeding frenzy.

Yeah, they really need another pass rusher. Morgan and Orakpo are getting older, and while they put up good sack totals as a team, it was feast or famine. Again.. look at that NE game. Zero pass rush. If they think D. Davis is legit, he makes sense. Can rush from the inside, and they could still take a DL or LB in the first round, like you said.

If the Titans were a team the national media cared about, his decision to kick Santos late in the game today would be absolutely roasted on all the talk shows. Hell, it still might be.

That is putting is very, very kindly. He looked like a guy who bet 3 million dollars on Buffalo.

Santos said that Vrabel asked him if he wanted to kick it, and he told him "Yes Sir". Well, no sh*t he's going to say that.
