Default UD Diamond Club Question

Hello, I have the basic understanding of the Diamond Club cards UD produced. You had to be a big UD customer etc...to become a member and get the benefits of cards, summit meeting, etc.

My question is how were the cards distributed? Were they in special packs? Just individually distributed Any more information is appreciated as I get some conflicting reports online how the cards were obtained. Thanks

They were shipped individually to each diamond club member.

Thank you for the reply. Individually shipped, meaning a single random card or Was it in pack form?

No pack, just shipped in a top loader to each members address via bubble mailer or cardboard ups box.

Further to what hermanotarjeta said, I believe there were some cards that all Diamond Club members received - like a Lebron Auto Jersey, Reggie Bush Auto Jersey, Derek Jeter Exquisite Auto.

Then in 2008-09 (I think) they sent hand-numbered sticker autos of random players across different sports in the way that hermanotarjeta mentioned.

Hope this information helps.

Diamond Club? Hmmm. Sounds vaguely familiar.

Some cards designed for members were gifted at club events. There are some rare DC cards that have never been publicly shared.

Thanks everyone for the information. Have the chance to get some of these cards and want to know as much as I could about them. Not an end-all, but the distribution does matter some to me.

The first year I believe each member had a personal photo op with Lebron - that would be a priceless experience today.

This is true. Each attendee got a photo taken at the event, then later received in the mail a larger photo signed by LeBron with hologram and matchng COA.
