Lebron will be 38 in December, the same age Jordan was when he played for the Wizards.
For comparison, here is Lebron's season at 37 and MJ at 38. https://stathead.com/basketball/pcm_...&p2yrfrom=2002 |

LeBron.... NO DOUBT!!!
That Jordan guy is trash. Jumped to another team late in his career. Who does that? |

I mean, LeBron if he stays healthy enough to play 50 games.
That's not a shot at MJ or a statement about who has had a better career or was the better player... It's just obvious to see that MJ was nowhere near elite after sitting out 3 years and LeBron is coming off an All-NBA season.

Lebron, but a lot of people sleep on how good Jordan was with the first year with Washnington before he got injured around the all-star break. After 52 games he was averaging 25-6-5 and the Wizards were on pace to be like the 4th seed after being 19-63 the previous year.

Athletes can fall off a cliff once they get this old. We've seen it with almost everyone across all the sports.
I don't think LeBron will dip to a 41.6 FG%, but he might miss a ton of time, or turn the ball over more than ever, or shoot 45% from the field |

Love me some MJ but the answer is surely LeBron. Lakers were terrible but he still playing at a super high level.

MJ if he played today at his current age could probably average 15-20 a game.

MJ is the goat but Lebron will have a better age 38 season… game is less physical, stats are inflated in this current era of nba, Lebron will load manage a little, training/sports medicine is prolonging careers, Lebron won’t have to shake rust off like mj did, and lebron will have more talent around him.

It's a pretty dumb question really. Different players playing different roles.
I'd still take Jordan's Wizards seasons with a pack of literal chumps over LeBron's with a group of future HOFers though. LeBron will have numbers again. But won't win jack

If Jordan averaged that for his career instead of the 1.7, how much higher would his scoring averages have been? I bet we’d have seen some 40 ppg. Just shows how the defense and tone has changed. |
