Whew, from the title, I thought the OP meant the revolutionary Che Guevara (born June 14th, 1928), so I'm relieved he instead was referring to someone less controversial and not as likely to push "hot buttons".
That said, while Boy George is a fine singer all right, and a true fashion plate, he spent 4 months behind bars in 2009 for falsely imprisoning a male escort. Even so, he didn't view his time in jail as a negative experience, stating in an interview with Reader's Digest last year, “I always maintained that jail would finish me off, but it didn’t. You somehow find the strength. It was a life-changing experience and I feel I came out of that situation with some wisdom and knowledge.". Hopefully any other people who share George's (and Che's) birthday and then find themselves in prison for stuff they most certainly did take the same lesson that George did from the experience, and go on to lead better, more honest lives. But just in case that lesson is lost on any of the others facing accountability for their actions, I'd like to now wish happy birthdays on June 14th to Steffi Graf (tennis) and Marla Gibbs (sitcom actor), a pair of GOAT candidates in their respective fields who just wisely stayed out of trouble in the first place.

Met George in 81/82ish on their 1st US tour.
My uncle was their tour bus driver. We went to a show in a club behind Fenway. My uncle told us that George and Jon the drummer were a couple but not to say anything because it was "secret" I'm 16 and naive as all heck. So when my uncle introduces us to Jon I go to shake his hand. He sticks out his left hand into my right hand and I'm thinking to myself that this is how gay people shake his hand. Turns out he had tendonitis in his right wrist and was only using it to play the drums.
