I wonder how often these guys still get fanmail, probably pretty cool for them to get a request in 2022.

Awesome. I love stuff like this. You got some good ones there but I really love the deep cuts. Dustin Colquitt's dad in there!

Luther Blue wrote back that he was a collector too.

Little did I know when I was 10 years old opening the packs of cards 43 years later I would still be playing with them

Love it! I was doing 1970 Topps TTM but slowed down on it for awhile. This has inspired me to start back up! Thank you!

That's awesome. Some of the prizm "autographs" from this era are a single squiggle and loop. Look how good most of these signatures are. Great collection

Thanks! There are 94 that have already passed away, and Troy Archer of the Giants died in a car accident June 22,1979, so before the cards came out that year.

Those are cool! Your 1979's are in much better shape than mine! I used to dump mine on the floor and go through them. Our dog would walk on them, and I'd leave them on the floor if a friend called and wanted to go play a sport outside.

That takes some hardcore dedication to try and get the team leader cards signed. I would be afraid if I got 3 of them the 4th one would not respond and all that work would be for naught.

But great work so far. Looks like we are the same age as I grew up collecting the 1978 and 79 Topps cards, brings back good memories! Definitely the big chase cards in my area too were Vikings and Cowboys.
