I know these are pretty popular in Asia.

Americans generally don't seem super interested in gold. I don't know why someone would buy a 1 grain piece anyways. Seems pretty pointless to buy $5 worth

Are people really paying $14.5 for $5 worth of gold? There's no way.

When the zombie apocalypse happens, all the peppers out there will be laughing at you.

I guess they all plan to be buying and selling with each other? Maybe a quarter grain will buy a bullet?

i forgot how it got solved, but you want 51 grains of gold

thats like ten triangle 5 grain pieces and 5 grain rectangle pieces and 1 grain gold bars or however many combinations it takes to get to 51 grains divided by cost and the cheapest way to get there is a difference

Based on the prices on the website you put you’re paying 3x spot for those tiny pieces.

ya gold is expensive, silver is super cheap, but uh palladium and platinum is like half the price of gold you end up near or around how much you expected to pay an ounce is like $2200 isn't it? this way, you can spend as little as you want....

You're throwing money away. You'll never turn a profit spending 3x spot on $5 pieces of gold. It makes no sense

The juice isn't worth the squeeze on this.

Save up some more money and buy at least a quarter ounce or higher.

Yes the sale price points are a scam and the markup is insane. I would say the same thing with silver at the gram level.

Of course if I was selling grain amounts or gram amounts of silver and I could legally sell them at these price points I would too if the police weren't going to raid my residence....

Buying PM’s in this low of a weight is a waste of money.

The only 1 grain gold bars I have are embedded in business cards. Some coin dealers send me a free grain of gold when I spend a bunch of money with them. I guess they know people won't throw away their business cards if they laminate a grain of gold in them.

I think the smallest gold fractional I've actually bought are some 1/2 gram foreign coins. I only buy those when I can get them fairly close to spot price though.
