Default Player Issue Autographs…Bobby Witt Jr.

I have these 2 Player Issue autographs of Bobby Witt Jr. How many do you think Topps gives to players like this? Wondering how rare they are as I’ve never seen any others, and with him being extremely hot right now, they’ve got to be desirable. Can anyone please recommend an image hosting site? I use Imgur.com and the pics show up huge on here. Thanks!

On Imgur, go to the post, and select “edit image”. From there, you’ll see one of the sides measure 2048. Change that number to 1024. Click save. That will make the image fit much better here. You can even do 512 if you want it even smaller.

Thanks! I’ll try using that!

Awesome card!

I won the Bowman Inception contest in 2013 and 2014 (the two years they ran it), and my boys and I got to hang out with the players all weekend at the UA game festivities both years, including while they signed their cards.

Each player signed a little over 225 regular authentic auto cards. The second year, they also signed a few with a lighter gray border…I believe 10-25…which I haven’t seen issued. I have one somewhere. They also each received a box to take home with maybe 100 “player issued” auto cards to sign and give to friends. At the games, Topps distributed a few non-auto’d cards to each fan who stopped by their table.

One interesting note is that Kyler Murray signed his cards in 2014, but they were never issued. Neither were the cards of guys who were never drafted/signed. I have a complete 2013 signed set of the authentic auto version, including for the guys that were never released in packs. Billy Ripken was a coach and came in and asked for a set, and the Topps rep assembled it for him. I asked if he’d be willing to sort one out for me at the same time, and he did.

Unfortunately, Topps wouldn’t do that the next year, so I only have two IP Kyler autos on cards and one on a ball from that game.
