Default NFL and Dapper Labs Agree to deal for NFL Style TopShot Platform

https://twitter.com/PackripEwing/sta...30656279859207

Expected to be up by the end of the season, this is going to be big.

Huge addition for Dapper and surprised by how quick it'll be ready

This could obviously be even bigger than NBA Top Shot due to the NFL's popularity and a ton more stars than the NBA just based on sheer athlete volume

To me seems silly to buy video highlight of something you could find anywhere online for free.

There are tangible perks. For NBA, they already gave out tickets to the draft/finals, jerseys and meet & greet with players for owning video highlights.

It has the blockchain backing and they’re adding more and more perks everyday. Soon they’ll have kiosks at the game where you can get moments, luxury boxes, super bowl trips, etc

In.

Won't miss the boat this time like I did in basketball.

The entire concept is laughable, but C.R.E.A.M.

Helluva lot better than dumping satoshis on virtual Logan Paul eggs.

The difference is you can sell the moments and make big money with NFTs.

Like cards, it is just pictures, but a card can be sold for big money.

Just another way to collect. Just enjoy it.

Dapper partnered with another company to produce a tangible display of NBA Top #@#@#@#@ clips. I'm sure there will be a 2.5x3.5 display in the near future.

Far from an early adopter, but got in early enough to make a few thousand of very little investment and very little risk in basketball....

I hope they design football in a different way that they do basketball.....

I would prefer if football sort of lended itself towards sort of a Panini Instant type things, where instead of having a hand full of maybe 2-3 base moments per player per season, it could be more of a weekly mint concept, where moments are minted based on the last week's games.

Imagine if each Wednesday a new mint came out. You could have multiple moments from different players based on what they did, each with much lower edition sizes. You could also use these to create mini challenges.

For example.....Patrick Mahomes throws for 4 touchdowns and wins AFC Player of the Week. The Wednesday release features 3 different moments... one from each of his first 3 touchdowns, with edition sizes limited to 2,000. If by a certain time period you can collect all 3 moments, you'll get a Player of the Week minted moment featuring his 4th TD. Collect all the Player of the Week moments throughout the year, get an "MVP" moment at the end of the season of whoever wins.

A lot of possibilities here.

So many thousands of crypto coins out there right now I don't trust investing in any as most are just there to take your money and laugh as you never see anything out of it again.

A lot of crypto projects are good projects until they’re not. Just saying.

So you’re going on record that this project between Dapper and the NFL will not be good and will fail. Same as your Top Shot take. Guess we’ll have to wait and see who’s right.

Lol don't get mad at me because your takes are always so bad. You're the one trying to disparage blackandgold's reply, when all he's trying to do is offer up relevant information regarding Flow that others can go look up and research if they want to know more.

I didn’t say this would fail, I said some crypto projects do. Boy do some people take this personally. I’m literally watching Good Morning Football to see what the announcement regarding this may be.

Ultimately blockchain in creating a paradigm shift in front of our eyes. It is an automobile moment, an internet moment, an iphone moment. However you want to look at it. People, including myself, can't understand what it will create because the ideas haven't even been thought of yet. Take the iphone. Prior to the Iphone, cellular phones were simply phones. Nothing more. Now they have gone from that one thing to many thousands of things and have changed nearly everything in our worlds with people inventing new uses every day. From banking, to connectivity, to commerce, to religion, to health care, to transportation and more and more. Even ideas that haven't been thought of yet. Automobiles were the same way. First cars to transport people, then equipment like forklifts, cranes, buses, now to driverless tech, space missions and robots. Not to mention the technologies created and new industries enabled. If you simply view blockchain as cryptocurrency or NFT's then yes it doesn't make a ton of sense. However, if you allow yourself to view it as more you will see that there are limitless uses and it is already beginning to permeate business infrastructures. It will be implemented in the very near future on supply chains, banking, any ledger, any verification technology, to track items from provenance like art, food, etc. Lots of stuff is about to be both streamlined and/or disrupted.

I have been in on Topshot since early this year, the prices crashed as more and more people were able to withdraw. It’s a lot of work that you definitely have to pay attention to what is going on because they shut down the market place, do maintenance, limit transactions etc and if you are not ready you will miss out on drops.
