I'm guessing its more efficient to break groups into eras and not sports. Maybe within those eras and as the cards get more sophisticated there could be further specialization (Mosaic, Prizm, Patch / Auto, etc.). So if you have a 1981 Donruss Jack Nicklaus Card, it is likely getting graded by the same group who is grading a 1981 Topps Joe Montana. 2001 UD Tiger Woods is probably getting graded by people who specialize in late 90s / early 2000s cards. etc.
