Kobe Bryant FAKES!! Platinum ROOKIE and more

Greetings,
I wanted to bring this to everyone's attention and perhaps get your feedback on it as well. I have recently seen fakes selling out of china and taiwan especially the 1996 Ultra Platinum Kobe Rookie card. I will let you be the judge.

This is the card i purchased from a reputable US member that was pack pulled and sleeved, 1 owner.

This is the card i reported a while back because it was so transparent that it was a fake. previous buyer also reported a fake along with the Z Force big men on court, see below.

This is the card listed today from Taiwan amongst other platinums. The shadow around the names of these fakes appear to be gold. the one i have currently is more orange. i dont know. Although this one does seem a little more real.

I would love to here everyone's take on this please.

I can see that the lettering of the team name is heavier on the "fake". The name however is heavier on the "real". I just dont know if it means anything. It might be just inconsistency in the manufacturing.

I've compared the Shaq Kobe and Jordan with that of mine and they all look off compared to mine. 100% FAKE!!! Good looking out OP

Ya. I noticed when you zoom in to these fakes you can see they are pixelated. This seller has a few of these online right now. Perhaps we can report him to get it removed.

there is an even more obvious way to tell these apart -

look at the blue line on the left side at the bottom of the card.

on the real one, that blue line is also on the right side of his shorts as well. in the other two, it is not there.

Guys, after review we can confirm the entire set of the ultra platinum sold by this eBay member are counterfeited. I have individually reported each item to eBay. I don't think it will be enough unless more people report him. I ask that you all do the same to protect our hobby from these low life's and scumbags. We cannot have these flooded in the market, this is bad. Please take time to go report this guy. The seller eBay is: bykcw

That's cause it is not centered. The pixellation can also be from the image it self, and not the image on the card. Are you guys serious? Does anyone have a valid point why they are fake?

Just based off pics...I compared my originals with these and they're all different. Unless mine are the fakes, these are 100% fake. Easily noticeable differences.

The "blue line" is refree's or commentator's desk. The cards pictured are not centered the same, that is why Glen does not see it on every card. I mean guys... seriously? Am I at the right place? Is this Blowout basketball forum?

Bro all of the cards listed by that member for that set are pixelated. These are fakes !

Sorry. You mean in hand; you compared a real one and the "fake" together? Otherwise of course it is pixelated, every picture on a computer is pixelated. I am really courious because this card can be easily faked (I imagine), but I have yet to see one.

Did u see the feedback rating on the other guy that sold a similar looking platinum rookie? Previous seller confirmed card was altered. I'm sorry when u have the actual card which I do and my initial gut feeling says it's a fake than I go with my feeling. Why would I suspect it was a fake? People just don't get these feelings for nothing. If eBay does not remove it I will be tempted to buy it and see it for myself.

The best single indicator - and to be even more specific about the team name/position text - is the slash "/" in "G/F"

I've never seen a card from 96-97 Ultra NOT have a pencil-thin slash mark...

It says a BMOC was faked as well?

Curious to see how. I know the ZPEATS were faked out of Taiwan for a brief period, but never really heard about the regular version being faked.
