Default Any good shops in the SJ/Philly area?

Was trying to raise some cash today and found out how difficult it is even with very liquid cards. Went to a small show and got about 80% of eBay on PSA 10 Sotos, Tatis, Acuna etc. but even that was difficult to do. All the shops in the surrounding area say they pay 50% of eBay max. Anyone know of any solid shops or buyers in the area?

Yeah nice guy and shop but only singles are pretty much a few $3 boxes and a ton of $0.25 boxes. If trying to sell he offers max 50% which he’s honest about but not something I would even consider.

Most of the shops in South Jersey don't pay well because of the rent prices. I buy a lot around South Jersey and am in that 50-60% range as well and most people are fine with it because they don't want to do the work. 80% is very generous considering that after fees the dealer might get 90% of the sale price on eBay. Is the small show you mentioned the Bordentown show? It's been packed there lately.

No the bordentown show a few weeks back was much better. It was packed and was able to get pretty much eBay values for trading. Also wasn’t selling at the time but most dealers were asking if I was and from seeing what they paid were at or above 75% for the most part. The Moorestown mall show was the one I was talking about from last weekend.

Yea, you’ll probably have better chances at shows since you can shop around and they don’t have any overhead other than the table. The Moorestown Mall show was surprisingly good for how small it was. If you want to hold out until June, The Philly Show is planned for the 11th-13th and will probably be great.
