Injuries are the major factor that people cannot know. Sad for him and the hobby.

They’re calling it a hyper extension for now.

That hyperextension looked like bone bruise material. Hope I'm wrong cuz that shiz hurts and takes forever to heal.

Groundhogs Day.

In all seriousness, hope he's ok and it's not more serious than a hyperextension.

Obviously without looking at the actual MRI results we are all guessing but in real time it looked like a hyper-extension and that he could walk off on his own indicates this isn't season ending. Thank goodness for that... and fingers crossed for a speedy recovery to the games best big man.

Was watching the game live and got in a bet on Jokic for MVP right as Jojo was walking off the court. Shocked Vegas wasn't ahead of me and didn't lock it before I could get it in. Checked about 20 mins later and all MVP bets were locked.

He's going to be fine but it will hurt his hobby love a little bit. I was going to purchase a couple of his high end rookies but now I would rather wait until he can stay health on the court for a consecutive period time. However, I hate to see a great talented guy like Joel go down like this but things happen in the NBA. Sam Bowie, Greg Oden, Derrick Rose etc...

Its a strange mentality when the first thing you think about is how to cash in... Kinda sums up where we are in this 'Hobby.'

I hope we can go back to the time when this hobby was more likely to be a collecting fun field but things have changed in recent years. Again, good luck to Joel. He has the chance to become the next best number 21 behind Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett.

Yep. Looks like 1-2 weeks. All of the injury merchants can go back to their regularly scheduled activities now.

Depends on how bad it is. I've had a bone bruise caused by hyperextension and it hurts like a sonofabitch and for weeks.

Did you rub dirt on it?

He's one of those players who every time he does anything I think his legs are going to break. I get that seem feel with Zion. Something about dainty-looking ankles or something.
