Default Grading question, opinions please.

So, I submitted a Kevin Durant Goudey Sport Royalty Rookie Auto for BGS grading and got it back finally. Submitted it in January, got it back last week, LOL.

Here's the result (clickable thumbnails):

So, the question for the masses:
Leave as is, or cross to PSA requesting 9 minimum with OC designation?

Aaaaand...go.

Step 1. Crack it out of the case
Step 2. Hope for a PSA 8.

You don't want a PSA 9 (OC). Go with the straight grade. IMO it's an 8.

Qualifiers are really only for the Set Registry bubbas who want higher grades for their set on damaged or poorly produced cards. Most collectors will completely ignore them or pay 3 grades lower for them. So you're much better getting a straight grade of 7 or 8 than a 9(OC).

Yes. It's admitting very openly what should be open to interpretation. The buyer will see the centering is off L-to-R, but by having the qualifier on there pretty much says it's REALLY OC, whereas without the qualifier, the buyer can make up their own mind about how OC it is. The rule used to be OC cards would sell at two grades lower than the grade, ex. a PSA 9(OC) would get a PSA 7 price. Now, I think it's even lower. Just by using the old rule for your card, you would be lowering its value.
