I have an idea, why don't all pitchers just get TJ surgery right after high school? Get it out of the way since it's inevitable and boom they are good to go!

Tell an 18 year old aiming to be drafted that he will be shut down for a year+ for an injury he doesn't have. Good luck.

Martin Perez has a partial tear, He should just get the TJ cause it won't get better with rest.

Wow no pitchers from Philly that's a shocker because there methods of coaching there young prospects is the fast track to the bigs.Which turns out to be good for the club for a few years but a bad thing for those young arms going threw Philly.

Better solution:
Have pitchers throw (as in playing catch) more often. That's why pitchers are going down like flies, they don't throw like they did in the 80's.

AH YOU GOT ME WITH YOUR WHITE LETTERED MESSAGE haha
I mean i knew you were kidding but still.

Nolan Ryan used to always throw a football around before he pitched

Sano's was a freak injury wasn't it? I think he ran into a base runner or something stupid.

Theres what 4 on there that have had it done twice already. It's gotta be a certain way of throwing or something. I mean look at David Price never had it and he used to throw like 140-150 pitches in college.

Exactly what I think needs to happen. Want to see some team adopt the idea and see no one get TJ the whole year
