PSA Vault misc

I'm not a big vault person, but sometimes I do grade cards I plan on selling immediately, so I started sending those to the PSA vault to list on eBay. It's mostly gone fine so far despite having like zero information about what's going on between when the cards are shipped to the vault and when they show up there.

Anyway on a recent order I had 15 cards sent to the vault. Yesterday I got an email that they received 13, but even now over 24hrs later, those cards are not showing up in their app, and there's been no word about the other 2 cards. I kind of hate having to keep track of this stuff, and I'm not sure why it's so convoluted other than "it's PSA they do what they want and people keep throwing money at them".

Anyway just curious if anyone else has had similar issues with the PSA vault lately, in general, etc. If things usually work themselves out eventually or if they've had to get people involved, etc. Luckily these aren't super high end cards but it's still very annoying.

I had an order of 10 cards sent there from Ebay - They sent e-mail of 8 of them added to vault, and other 2 were put in a couple days later for some reason. Probably just that, and you don't have to do anything.

Yeah, I've had cards vaulted on different days, despite all being sent in the same package.

Vault says 3-5 business days for shipping after a request. Requested 10/22, still no tracking. Fair to say they’re backed up in all directions.

Do you pay storage fees or a fee for just keeping cards you send in yourself already graded in the Vault? Do I need a PSA Membership or can send to Vault without one?

Not yet.

You do pay a fee to withdraw your cards from the vault. It's currently very low. Keyword "currently". It's $5.99 per shipment (up to 50 items). Also a $1.99 fee for each item vaulted more than 90 days, or $4.99 fee for each item vaulted for less than 90 days.

No.

Anyone with a PSA account can send items to the vault. For example, you can enter your personalized PSA vault mailing address as one of the shipping addresses on eBay, to ship cards directly to the PSA vault from eBay, and there's no sales tax etc.

For what it is worth, I am having a similar problem.

After grading was finished, sent a card to the vault some three weeks ago. Still waiting for it to get there.

I got an email saying my items were received a week ago now, and they still aren't visible in the app. It seems like if they're emailing me that they are in my vault that I should be able to see them.

I like the convenience of not having to store/ship stuff I'm selling but maybe it is better to just have everything sent back to me.

Had cards delivered last Tuesday and they are not put into my account yet. They said it would take 7-10 days.

Still no help from PSA, but they did email me today about a "policy violation" (I use post-it tabs which I know is against their guidelines but I've been doing it for years with no problems). Yeah I think I'm done with PSA, I don't know if they're expanding too much too fast or if they're purposely trying to move away from sports cards, but I'm over it.

Two ebay purchases marked as "vaulted" last Monday, and show up in my Vault under ebay. But these do not appear anywhere in my vault on the PSA website. Sent an email last Wednesday and still haven't heard anything back. Anyone know what my options are or have a similar experience? Could eBay support expedite things?

Is your eBay buying email the exact same email address you sue for your PSA membership?
If not, you need to create a free PSA account using the exact same email address you use for eBay and then your purchases will appear.

I had cards sent from grading to the vault on October 22nd. I received an email on November 5th stating the cards are in my vault. However, they are still not in my "Collection" nor "Vaulted" on my account page.

Yes, I've used many times without any issues. I've had eBay purchases before and after these two cards show up in my vault already.

Someone on Instagram said they've been waiting THREE WEEKS for their vault items to show up in the app.

Is there any option for in-person pick up from the vault? Do they offer for pick-up at shows like the National, if given proper notice? Not keen on mail only

I had cards delivered to the PSA Vaulr on October 28 and they are still not in my account. Never again.

Have also had some issues with the delay and things not being vaulted.

One item was handed off by ebay to PSA on 10/13, it shows up in my vault but says it's unvaulted. Another item purchased from Goldin shows as vaulted, but I can't list or ship it back to me. But then I had another item arrive on 11/10 and successfully vaulted just a couple days later, so not sure what's going on over there. No responses from them either.

Just had an order pop and the plan was to send 20 cards to the vault to list on Ebay BIN..... now i am starting to have second thoughts, i can change my mind until tomorrow around noon.

I've used them a lot recently for Ebay purchases - Saves on sales tax, and very convenient to relist for buy it nows also.

Considering sending them 100+ graded cards I have to pretty much sell for me. Instead of me putting up cards buy it now / best offer, I figure might as well diversify and have PSA do it to save time & hopefully more eyeballs on the listings too.

Seems the only downside so far is slow processing times to put items in vault, unless I'm bypassing other issues.

I have a question though; I'll prob contact PSA but they suck sometimes at answering:

For offers for the cards in your vault, is there a setting where you can be e-mailed about every offer? I was notified for two, but last couple I was not and would have missed the offers if I didn't check the PSA website. Am I the only 1 experiencing this?

I always get an email with an offer. The exception is if there is an offer of less than 50%, which they auto decline.

Well they finally emailed me back to ask for the cert #s of the missing cards, which they should know since they emailed me to tell me the cards arrived in the vault...but anyway I responded with the info and haven't heard anything back since, and the cards still aren't showing up in the app.

Has anyone had success with items showing up even after a delay of several weeks? I guess I'm trying to figure out if this is somehow a manual process (hard to imagine but nothing would surprise me at this point) and they've fallen behind or if there's just a batch that seems to have been lost in a black hole.

Same. What I don't like is there is no option to counter-offer, which is idiotic.
