What is the difference between eBay international standard through their Ebay system (simple label) vs USPS (with customs form printed)? Tracking, insurance, etc.?
Can you offer both options at the same time? Is that the same offer "Save up to 14% on shipping to Canada" or completely separate to the other international shipping? Thanks for your input, Ed |

I’m currently experimenting with international shipping, so from what I understand, it depends on what you’re selling.
Many international buyers don’t want to pay the higher shipping fees for some things, as it is more expensive to ship international, so you might have to consider taking your chances and be really careful with sending PWE for cheaper cards. Also, depending on where you’re shipping, customs have been known to hold on to packages for an extended time which will upset some buyers even though it’s not your fault. And then, depending on how you filled the customs form in regards to declaring the value of the item, the buyer might have to pay an extra customs fee, which they also might become upset with, even though it’s not your fault. So you might want to consider and look into things like that and call some places or write some emails. i’ve seen a lot of negative buyer feedback for things like that. you might also want to consider purchasing insurance for your more valuable items too. I recently sent a package to Germany that was held for a little over a month before it was finally delivered, but before the pandemic, sometimes it only took a week or less to arrive.
