Eleven cards back from PSA

I just got back a small order from PSA. I’m good with the grades except one. When I was examining the blue Curry I thought it had a chance to gem and I thought the base version would only get a 9. Go figure on what happened.

No clue. It looks fantastic. There are no small creases or any flaws on the surface. NO CLUE what’s wrong. I’m probably going to crack it out and resubmit.

I once had a card that received all 9.5's from BGS, sent to it PSA for the 10 and it came back a 7 WTF?

So I cracked it and sent to back to BGS and came back with the same quad 9.5's.

To this day I have no idea what PSA was seeing wrong on the card, I couldn't see any flaws at all and apparently neither could BGS.

WOW, that’s nuts! But I believe it.

Psa is absolutely brutal with 2009 tops atleast from my experience.

Wow. You did great on your grades and those are some nice cards. The Blue Bowman cards are tough to find without chipping. Yours looks really good. My guess would be some kind of surface issue that caused it to get a 6. But definitely worth looking over and cracking and resubmitting. Good luck.

Why can't you email pics of front/reverse and ask PSA why the low grade?

This one I would send to BGS. Crack the case or just send in as is for re-grade. I mean this is a good looking card.

The back looks as good as the front. I double checked for indents and creases on the surface, both sides, and I can’t see any. When I send my next order I’ll crack this out and send it again. I’ll let everyone know what happens.

With no intention of being negative, just looking at the pic provided.

The top left corner looks to be showing some white, as does the bottom left and bottom right (these 2 could be from the angle)

Is the white dot above curry’s right eye on the card?

The white dot was on the outside of the case and the top left corner definitely has a touch of white but there is no way that alone makes the card a 6. But obviously there is something else that I’m missing.

No, sorry. No update. It is what it is. A bad grade. I haven’t sent in a new order but when I do the blue Curry will be in it again.
