Default Stock market is tanking...invest in cards...bkb is on hiatus...invest in?

Hand sanitizer? TP?...In all honesty good time to invest in diagnostic companies or suppliers...Promega, Thermofisher etc. These will companies will have to ramp up supply to meet the demand for coronavirus testing.

I THINK BB cards will survive the hiatus. The season isn't canceled... it's simply postponed.

Days like these justify my buy in’s at about 5% of my cash position. Slowly averaging down.

I literally had this conversation last night. The reason many of us got out of the hobby(speaking from experience) was do to life being expensive. When you're buying your first house, getting married, starting a family, paying off loans, etc. - everything else starts to take a back seat. So you sell off everything non essential and you allocate funds away from hobbies and other frivolous expenses. We've all seen the "I'm getting married" or "I lost my job" sales. It's a fact of Hobby life. Interests and priorities change. Some of us stumble back in. Some never do.

Invest in Hanesbrands...HBI.

Lots of people crapping their underwear over the stock market over the last few weeks.

Invest in toilet paper. Don't be too late and miss out. Store's shelves are empyting faster than prizm and optic retail.

I had people purchase my more expensive cards on ebay last night that had no action the last week. It was weird. Somehow pieces of shiny cardboard might survive or even go higher during this whole deal.

I stumble back in every 6-8yrs.

9-14yrs old
20-23yrs old
28-32yrs old
Back again...just like Gary V said. Collected as a kid in the late 80s early 90s. Disposable income. 11yr old son with hobby interests.

Sports cards are the new safe haven. To hell with gold and treasuries!

Invest in yourself. If social isolation is on the menu, read more, go to bed early, start doing those stretches you've been meaning to get on top of, etc. Use the time to hit the reset button and return to your hustle fresh.

Or just continue on as you would normally? Take extra precautions to avoid being sick but there's no reason we should be halting all daily life.

If it takes a virus outbreak for you to do those things you mentioned you're probably not a very motivated person

Who said anything about halting all daily life? The fact is that some people will have their lives disrupted - and not by their choice - so why not look at it as an opportunity to make good habits?

If you already have good habits, all power to you. I’m offering a suggestion, not speaking in absolutes.
