Will the NBA Change the Logo to Kobe?

Jerry West is super out dated and he lost a bunch of finals, but he is white and not sure the NBA wants to get rid of that strong hold.

The logo is part of the NBA brand much like the McDonald Arches, and the Nike swoosh. I seriously doubt they change it.

The debate is outdated. Jerry already publicly stated that he doesn't mind changing the logo, but since the league never acknowledged that the logo is Jerry West, nor have Jerry received compensation for it, it was suspected that the league will not change it due to monetary reason.

I don’t think they change it to Kobe. Mostly because of how they never acknowledged nor paid Jerry West for his likeness and what they would have to pay Kobe’s family for his. It’s probably too complicated to get something like that done even if they wanted

If anything they remove Jerry from the logo and go with something new and different

The NBA has morphed so much over time to market to younger generations, it may not be as far fetched as we think. Just has to make $$ to them

I hope not....the NBA logo is without a doubt the most recognized and sophisticated logo out there. But people do like to fix things that aren’t broken so that they can break them, so could happen.

The only reason this has been brought up again is because of Kyrie Irving’s stupid tweet. He’s a clown. He doesn’t respect what West accomplished, he just cares that he’s white and in his mind, less important.

Much like LeBron the other night saying “they” gave Black History Month the shortest month....you know what LeBron doesn’t know? Black History Month began because a black professor wanted to celebrate the unwritten and unspoken history of blacks in America, and chose the week of Feb 12 and 14 because the birtdays of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln were that week.
