Default What legends do you collect?

Pele? Cruyff? Maradona?

I don't yet have a soccer (futbol) collection, but I think I might collect Messi, cause he's the all time greatest (imo)... No disrespect to Ronaldo.

But, I'll probably also add Pele and some other legends.

As a Newcastle fan, I collect Alan Shearer.

As a Fiorentina fan, I collect Gabriel Batistuta.

How can you support two different teams?

I'll genuinely never understand it.

Different leagues.....

Remember....I'm a Yank.....my "local" team that I grew up with is the Seattle Sounders, who ceased to exist for almost 30 years.

I became a Newcastle supporter because I liked Peter Beardsley.

I become a Fiorentina supporter because I lived in Florence for half a year when I was a kid.

I also support Beijing Guo'an (my wife's hometown club), and have soft spots for AC Venezia, Borussia Dortmund, and Athletic Bilbao.

I'm guessing that in addition to their "local" club that they grew up supporting, many fans support other clubs in other leagues. As long as two of the clubs they support don't play each other, there's not much to worry about.

Legends I focus on collecting:
Zico
Socrates
Falcao
Pele
Garrincha

But in general I will try to pick up cards of any player that is a legend.

I know you're a lifelong Leeds supporter, since presumably you grew up in/around Leeds, but for those of us who did not grow up with a "hometown" club, supporting multiple clubs in multiple leagues just increases our attachment to and enjoyment of soccer.

It's not just hometown clubs. People from places where their club will never play teams in any of the Big 5 leagues become fan of teams from those countries. It's normal.

About OP, I collect autos of soccer legends/GOATS. Have Messi, CR7, Maradona, Beckenbauer, Ronaldo among others. Looking for a nice Pele, gave my dad the one I had.
