Default This would be pop 1 gem mint? 1/1

I started the PSA gem 10 pop 1 1/1? Thread
I read the replies so this would actually be 1/1 and pop 1?
Would this be a gem 10 through PSA?

Ok, so regardless of graded or not in the graded card world a true 1/1 is still only going to be a stamped 1/1?

I'm not debating anyone's answers just trying to get all best answers for my own self from veteran collectors in the graded cards.
Again I am new to graded cards. However I do have gem 10 rookies of mattingly, those were just for myself to have perfect rookies of mattingly. No questions with those.
Example : What if the print run is 10 and all 10 have been graded and only 1 comes out at a gem mint? And rest are 8-9 grades.

In your example the gem mint 10 would be a POP 1 .. yes because the population of gem mint 10s of that exact card = 1. It does not make it a 1/1 technically because there is more than 1 printed, so a grade cannot transform a card into a /1 no matter if it is the only 1 to receive that high of a grade. I mean you could argue that what if they were all 8s and 9s of the print run to 10 .. and you got a 5 .. is that a 1/1?

However on the flip side every 1/1 is a POP 1 .. EVERY SINGLE 1/1 that is graded is a POP 1 because it is the only one that was ever made so for that specific card there is a POPulation of 1 and there can only ever be a population of 1.

So all stamped 1/1s are a POP 1, but not all POP 1s are a 1/1 .. in my book.

It's a pop 1
#/10
There's still 10 of then, the grade has nothing to do with the total number of cards

Awesome I like the info and it is great! Glad I got some info before diving into graded cards.
So what makes a graded card worth so much more then an ungraded card if it's possible the ungraded card could be in better condition? Is it the "professional" grade? (Whether it be bgs,PSA,sgc.)

It's partially because it gives you a better understanding of the condition than scans, partially because it looks better, and partially because it provides better protection than a toploader. Plus it theoretically guarantees that the card isn't fake although I wouldn't trust it much considering how many clearly fake autographs reputable companies have authenticated.

I think you should crack it out of the case and resubmit it to BGS so that way it can be a 1/1 POP 2

wouldn't that then make it the even more rare dual 1/1 pop 1 in both the 9 and 10 category

I didn’t expect these to grade the same but I am glad they did; I now have the very elusive and seldom seen 1/1 Pop 2 that some claim doesn't exist.

haha, that's awesome.
I think it was earlier this year, when I saw some 'topps transcendent' 1/1 stamped cards - I know I saw more than one of a few of them, though I'm not sure if it was ever proven to be multiple 1/1s -
though I seem to recall various 1/1s of the same card to be on ebay at the same time by different sellers on at least one occasion..
