Default Sweet 90's pick ups at local shops (scan overweight)

Wanted to share some good stuff that I found sitting around in old card shops. In total, I picked up two 4 row boxes of 90s singles that are still being sorted. Also, having searched and found 2 other 1997-98 PMGs in old common boxes in the past I was once again able to find a couple big cards in the trenches. Thus far (not done looking through it all), I have added over 200+ Jordan, Kobe, Hill and Duncan cards to my PC. Best part is that the prices were great, can even say comparable to those of the era when Amare Staudamire was great and Kobe was buying his wife a 4 million dollar rings.

Before I share some of the haul, I did stop at an other LCS to pick up a vintage box but spent more than intended. Still got a great deal and am excited to hold on to it for now.

Next on to the fun. I checked out this location and was immediately greeted by this stack in the entrance.

Oh man those Grant Hills are great! I think I'll get one of those autographics one day, one of the most iconic cards of that era imo.

Wow great finds! I’ve always wanted to walk into an old shop and find something like this but all I seem to find are overpriced baseball and old Star Trek cards

Yes, well except for the Olajuwon Jersey card. This is still just a portion, many other pick ups not posted.

man where do you find 90s fire like that at a card shop??? Unreal.

There was one great shop north of Charlotte that I made the 3-hour round-trip drive to a couple of times. Picked up a TON of fire stuff (rodman spx grand finale, duncan take it2.net, tons of refractors, etc.). The shop owner was cool and apparently had his "high-end 90s" at home. I offered to help sort it for free- I just wanted first crack at anything I needed. He didn't get around to it before I moved though. Said he knew for a fact he had a Pippen Jambalaya in his boxes at home and that card was fairly indicative of the stuff he had. Maybe I should road trip down there again haha.

Love the premium player, 3D, thunder & lightning and takeit2net. I'm on the hunt for a Shaq of all 4!

Amazing pick ups. I wish there was a card shop with anything near that sort of buying opportunity around me. Looking forward to seeing what else you find.
