Is Bryce Harper the undisputed "best" player in the game now?
Last season there's still some debate going on between him and Trout, is Harper the best player in MLB right now?

Today, yes. But I'd like to see longer consistency but the gap is close. I still think Trout is better, for now.

He's the best hitter.
Being best overall for 1 season (by a smallish margin) doesn't necessarily make you the best overall, IMO. If he has another 9.5-ish WAR season and Trout doesn't, I'll say Harper is best overall.

There was just a report written on rotoworld the other day. Guy basically said Harper has now proven he's a better hitter. But defender, base runner, teammate, Trout still takes the cake. So the answer is, pick your poison, your f'd either way. =) Both will continue to be the mantle/mays of our generation so enjoy while you can.
