I don't think anyone else has started one, so in honor of D-I Opening Day today, let's get it going!

Feel free to share teams you'll be cheering for, players you'll be watching, crazy stat games, all that good stuff!

I'm a Winthrop alumni and used to work for the baseball team, so with National Champion Coastal Carolina moving to the Sun Belt, I'm looking forward to the Eagles getting their first Big South championship in a while!

My mom and her husband live in Nashville, with the latter working security at most Vanderbilt athletic events. So in addition, I'm always keeping an eye on the Commodores. They are pretty loaded once again this year, should be fun to watch.

If talking about Florida JuCo players, Brendon Little (former Tar Heel)is probably the top prospect.

Unusual California storms might put a damper on opening weekend for D1. I will be keeping watch on Jared Horn (Cal, potential freshman of the year candidate) and Clay Fisher (UCSB, perhaps best defensive SS in the west).

Yeah, BA and PG both have Little very high on their board. It never ceases to amaze me how many guys from big time D-1 programs end up playing JUCO down here. That SCF team has a number of solid draft guys

Now that the braves are moving out to a less fan friendly stadium in Cobb County I will be going to Georgia Tech and Georgia State to get my baseball fix. IMO the experience is 1000x better at a college game than a big league one.

Nick Lodolo debuting for TCU today. He's gotten a lot of hype from the writers. Interested to see how he does against a rather meh Penn State team.

Also Ole Miss's freshmen are gonna be a lot of fun to watch for 3 years. Dillard and C Johnson especially.

Jorge Gutierrez looks pretty legit so far. But hard to tell how much of that is the Bowling Green factor.

SEC West gonna be fun this year.

Think we can compete in the Bg West this season. Helps that it looks like we night have something special in SP Dominic DeMiero, a junior college transfer. He beat NC State last night handily.
