Default Patrick Mahomes Prices

These things are just getting crazy. Not sure how much higher they can get. This one shocked me. FOTL rookie from last year is at $18,300 and it's not even over yet. I think he's doing great too and has an awesome chance to get even better with the team around him but man...

Some people have more money than sense. $19,100. Hope seller gets paid and nothing happens to Mahomes in next 6 months. Would be a hell of a return to sweat if he tore an ACL this weekend.

Looking for rare Jameis Winston rookies (Prizm White Sparkle, Gold Vinyl, etc), 1/1's and jersey #'d stuff.

Sold for $19,100.

He's a future 6x Super Bowl winner and first ballot Hall of Famer. Worth every penny.

I guess this is the same thing that happened with Jimmy G last year. Just hope Mahomes stays healthy. Big gamble for sure.

Love the dude. Would never spend that on him. But I think he can be a great QB for a long time.

A /25 sold ungraded for $8,100 last week....

But when you think its NT, and hes a super star in less than a full season, crazy to think about his cards long term upside- Itmakes me thinkhow Giannis NT base RPA was 5k two seasons ago- now $20,000...
Not crazy to think Mahomes base which are close to 5k, could see 10K or more a piece by next season and after that who knows...
Add in the rare paralells like a /25, or a /13, or a /5, and wow sky is limit on those cards today

Crazy that only one player in the NFL this young has basketball prices.

I don't get the prices for these things and never will (you can include psa 10 vintage as well). I don't live in that world. I assume it is all ego driven. Spending multiple grand for a sports card. Especially when it is a modern player who will have 1000's of autos and 1000's of rookie cards.

The manufactured scarcity is such a silly thing when you think about it.

I’m pretty sure some of these sellers get together and bid up cards to try and manipulate the market. That much for a modern card of a player with such a tiny resume is senseless. Put those $’s towards some vintage baseball if you want a guaranteed profit in the future.

The highest Garoppolo card I could find on PWCC was $7,100 on January 18th.

2014 National Treasures Jimmy Garoppolo RPA Logo Patch 10/10 JERSEY # BGS 9.5

There was a 3 card lot that sold for $12,560.

Ones like this always make me shake my head. They have in the listing that the PSA 10 sold for over 13k. Unless there is something wrong with the card that BGS didn't see, I have no idea why they wouldn't submit it to PSA. I bet they are leaving a lot of money on the table.

I would be scared to spend the money if i was a seller for a year or however long it takes to clear the return time.

Would definitely be interesting to see how many Watson and Jimmy G cards were returned after their injuries.

I sold a Jimmy G ice psa 10 for a little more than $5k and a NT /99 PSA 10 for $5k. Neither were returned.

Probably because the new owner flung themselves off a bridge after he tore his ACL
