Unpaid eBay auctions have become a problem on comc. On one hand it seems like COMC doesnt do much to curb this (I see no evidence of comc requiring autopay on auctions, which is an option on eBay, I have never heard of any eBay buyer account blocked by comc, which should be happening with any auction going unpaid). I get auctions going unpaid then COMC is adding insult to injury each and every time charging you, the seller, the auction fee when it goes unpaid- this is so silly and shouldnt be happening. The seller is making $0- zero- on the transaction. A buyer on eBay can come along, sabotage your eBay auction, not pay, you get nothing, and then it even costs you money because COMC charges you for that. On top of that there doesn’t even seem to be a big deterrent for a buyer to do this. Doubt they’ll be blocked.
It may not be a lot ($0.99 for low dollar item), but it adds up. Money being sent to COMC for nothing. Just look at Orion’s post upthread, what was it $25+ from buyers not paying for his auctions. “Sending an item to auction” on comc id imagine is just an electronic thing, not exactly manpower driven. With unpaid auctions on eBay I’m pretty sure I’m not out anything when that happens to me when selling on my own. So curious why the nonrefundable auction fee at all. Since I don’t see enough being done to curb the nonpaying buyers, and COMC is charging us for auctions that go unpaid, I now have to curb my auctions being sent to eBay. I know others who have made similar decisions. These unnecessary fees add up.

it is wild if they're charging fees on auctions that don't get paid for
