A Cliff Noted Version of driving in Wisconsin. The winter version....
I rep an area, so I drive all over.
I had work in Green Bay. 1 hour and 45 minutes. Drive basically as fast as I am willing to go with the State Patrol in mind. I am there for 4 hours or so and during that time we get dumped on (snow). 3 hours and 15 minutes on the way back. Ive driven in stuff like that all my life and with the truck I have willing to move along, even in snow, at a decent rate. Most the traffic was going 30-40MPH (interstate). If you wanted to to jump in the passing lane (hadn't been plowed), you were gonna white knuckle it. (depending on your vehicle).
I did talk with a guy from Michigan while I was there. He said he got 34" of snow in 24 hours. He said he snowblowed every hour. Now that I have never experienced.
