Back in 2018, our local Target was overflowing with these $15 Bowman mega boxes. I bought 15 of them and left the rest “for the kids.”
Opened all the mojo packs, and sold an orange Acuna and an orange Alzolay auto the next week that paid for all the boxes.
Pulled three of the Shohei ROY Favorites (no colors, though), and left the “dead” Bowman packs stacked on a shelf unopened until Covid.
Pulled nine Shoheis from those packs in 2020, and have periodically graded and sold those commons and a couple of the ROY cards to help feed my prewar habit.
