At the National this year, I watched a father and son count out 18k in cash to buy a Brady Contenders Rookie auto. It hit me then, that Mahomes prices were a bit too high. For the price of some nice Mahomes rookie autos you could go buy the best of all time.

If Mahomes doesn't win a SB this year or next...I think his stuff starts to steadily drop...not drastically...but future SB's are baked into his current prices.

I'll still be rooting for both him and the Chiefs obviously.

For what it's worth, I think you made the right decision. If you were THAT attached to it you wouldn't have sold. And at least you can justify it by getting a grail!
