It’s really not that small of a park. The PCL is a hitter’s paradise because many of the cities are high elevation. Sacramento’s advantage is that it has very limited foul territory, but otherwise the dimensions are pretty standard Sacramento’s is basically at sea level. Regardless, Miller has been worse on the road.
I’m not saying he’s bad. I’m just saying he’s not some superhero on the mound. He throws very hard, yes. And he can overwhelm the competition on many nights, yes. But there are many pitchers with better overall results.
