I really think things might be coming to an end with anything more than being friends with my friend. She’s been acting distant the last two weeks. Like we still talk, we walked back together from going to group lunch downtown Thursday and she rode in the vehicle I drove up to the employee lunch Wednesday and sat beside me during lunch, but things just feel different. I don’t know if it’s because her daughter’s dad had another kid or if I did something wrong, but I’m not going to beat myself up worrying about it. The ball is in her court, I’ve had a lot of women contacting me in recent months that I’ve ignored because we were spending so much time together, might be time to see what they’re all about.

It sucks, but it’s life. Hopefully our core friendship doesn’t end over any of it.
