Actual card collecting questions. So on eBay today, an interesting Nesmith market occurrence.
An NT Gold FOTL 23/24 jumped from $110 to $755 and then to $755 (19 hours to go). I think this was organic, what happened was one bidder put in a reserve of $750 and another with 'don't give an eff money' put in like a five dollar raise on this triggered price just to say I am serious. Bots would have shilled the shoot out of it by now?
So my tri-part question is
1) obviously a desirable card with two of Nesmith's career jersey numbers (neither of them the right one) worth more than a regular version of the card. But how much more?
(A /99 meh patch NT true RPA went for $313.50 in February. Only current data point but I recall a /24 going for like $450 or $540 last year).
2) Assuming numbers are irrelevant, is a /99 "true" with better patch worth more than a /24 FOTL gold?
Seller seems legit, organic amount of bidders (I am not in the running).
3) to a numbers collector, is actually a color match 23/175 third year (first-Pacers) blue disco "right jersey" Prizm more valuable than a wrong jersey, cool numbers, rookie NT? (Nesmith didn't have NT third year, except an odd Biography that used up rookie-year flawless GU Celtics jersey).
The one on the upper right. Only sicker color match I guess would be jersey number of the true blue /199.
