Just got back from the Card Show in Phoenix. Really nice show. Large venue. Although I prefer shows away from downtown, the convention center was easy to get to, and right by the stadiums. A Suns game was going on tonight and the area was active.

The show had some of the widest aisles I've seen, so maneuvering was comfortable. Good mix of vintage and modern. Prices were about what I expect from a show. One thing I noticed is that there was way more non-sport there than any show I've been to. That said, it was a "card show" not billed as just a sports card show, and it is very easy to just walk past tables I don't want to see. So no big deal there. It's just I don't see that much non-sport at shows in the midwest, so it stood out.

Here are some pictures:

I didn't pick up much, but did grab some lower end Larkins I was missing, and a 1966 Topps Venezuelan Frank Robinson with great eye appeal. It has a little paper loss on the back, as is expected with Vennies, but looks super sharp on the front.
