I was told by an experienced submitter (not PSA employee) that the high eye appeal thing is what they state, but in practice/reality, the half grade is a compromise grade.
You could very well be right, but I am 95% sure the half grade is not replicable in practice (such as this example). Oh well, I hope I never get a half grade again [emoji23]
