That was my 2012 Heritage Trout. Originally graded a PSA 4. I had a new envelope ready to go before it got delivered back to me. I cracked it out and immediately resent it—came back a 9. A 5-grade difference. Someone looked at a mint conditioned card and said “nope—it’s a 4.” Where was the infamous, yet never confirmed “2nd grader” that we hear about being put in place as a safeguard against this kind of crap?

This happened a few years ago so not a part of the recent experiences of this being somewhat normalized.
